For water technology and equipment companies, understanding the challenges utilities, engineers, and contractors encounter can be just as valuable as developing new products.
That's what Will Brannon of U.S. Pipe says he discovered through the Water Collaborative Delivery Association (WCDA), which brings water and wastewater professionals together for education, professional development, and collaboration.
Brannon initially joined to deepen his understanding of collaborative project delivery. But the biggest benefit went beyond the classroom: building genuine relationships with people across the industry, learning about their challenges, and understanding where his company could make a meaningful contribution.
His approach is to take off the company name badge, listen to what others need, and use that knowledge to direct resources toward solving actual problems.
