A new generation of water advocates is stepping onto Capitol Hill—and they’re not waiting for permission to lead.
As part of the Vessel Convening in Washington, D.C., students from across the country joined water professionals and community leaders to bring the issue of water access directly to Congress.
Melissa Bologescu, a student at North Carolina State University representing H2O for Life, says young people are doing more than learning about the global water crisis. Through education, fundraising, and hands-on action, students are helping support water projects while building the next generation of water leaders.
Their message to lawmakers is clear: youth are not just the future of water solutions—they are already part of them.
