💧H2O INTRO 🤝 Meet Nomble Lee-Watson of AECOM
Nomble Lee-Watson is a water and wastewater engineer who stepped out from behind the computer and into neighborhoods—knocking on doors to help identify and replace unsafe water pipes.
Through lead service line inventory work, Nomble connects directly with residents, explains complex infrastructure challenges in simple terms, and helps households access government support for pipe replacement. It’s a return to basics with real impact: face-to-face conversations that protect public health.
“It kind of got me out of the office... and I got to actually interact with the community,” says Nomble.
Nomble was a participant in the Water Center at Penn’s Regional Network Collaborative for Water Leadership.
