Water utilities don't just need suppliers anymore. They need problem solvers.
Jeff Bridge of Oldcastle Infrastructure says public water systems are being asked to tackle bigger infrastructure challenges without adding staff or growing their budgets.
"They're not making money. They're not getting bigger. They're not getting to add a ton of people," he says. Instead, utilities are looking for partners who can bring technical expertise—not simply deliver a product—to help solve complex infrastructure problems.
For utilities stretched by aging infrastructure, workforce shortages, and limited resources, the right expertise can extend their capacity and help them make smarter long-term decisions.
