waterloop drops: Granular Activated Carbon Used to Remove PFAS From Water

The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority in Wilmington, NC is building granular activated carbon filters to remove 90% of the GenX, a PFAS chemical, from the water. The utility says the system cost of $43 million should be paid by the polluter Chemours.
