America’s water infrastructure needs “hundreds of billions, if not trillions of dollars, just to get back to a state of good repair,” despite the $55 billion from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).

United for Infrastructure, a coalition of business groups, officials, and institutions led by Ross van Dongen, is raising awareness about this critical issue.

With the IIJA expiring in 2026, they’re urging lawmakers to prioritize and increase funding for water systems to drive economic growth and create jobs.

United for Infrastructure is a partner at the Reservoir Center in Washington, D.C. Content in collaboration with the US Water Alliance from the 2025 One Water Summit.
